Andrew creates and executes strategic communications programs for Water & Wall’s clients and is responsible for overseeing account management and client relationships. He has significant media relationships spanning print, digital and broadcast outlets, which he leverages on behalf of his current and former clients, including Putnam Investments, Barclays Wealth, Crosslink Capital, Neuberger Berman, GoldenTree Asset Management, OppenheimerFunds, S&P Select Sector SPDRs, Lazard Capital Markets and Barings Asset Management.
Prior to Water & Wall, Andrew was a Senior Director and Head of Media Relations in the Financial & Corporate Practices Group at Middleberg Communications. In 2006, Middleberg Communications merged with TowersGroup, a financial and corporate public relations firm, where Andrew began his public relations career, rising to Account Supervisor prior to the merger.
Andrew’s specialized focus — generating significant, ongoing and reprintable media coverage — routinely results in features appearing in outlets such as Barron’s, Worth, Institutional Investor, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Investor’s Business Daily, CNBC, Fox Business, and Bloomberg, as well as in trade publications relevant to each client’s sales channel. His knowledge of the asset management business as well as his deep understanding of his clients’ business goals has translated into valuable media coverage that’s helped build/protect brands and motivate the purchase cycle.
Andrew also served as the Media Relations Manager at OppenheimerFunds, Inc., during the 2008 market downturn, where he created media strategies designed to build assets, support marketing efforts and protect and enhance the firm’s reputation. Andrew received his baccalaureate degree from Binghamton University.
